1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on av8db.com (the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Legal Disclaimer (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the Platform.

2. User-Generated Content

All content posted on the Platform — including but not limited to profiles, qualifications, endorsements, posts, comments, aircraft listings, business listings, reviews, fuel reports, flight logs, photos, videos, job postings, events, and messages — is created and submitted by users.

You are solely responsible for the content you post and represent that you have all rights necessary to post it. av8db does not pre-screen, edit, or verify user-generated content beyond automated content filtering and reactive moderation.

3. Peer Verification Is Not Regulatory Verification

The Platform's peer endorsement system, including "verified pilot" status and qualification verifications, is a social signal only. It is generated by other users vouching for each other and is not a regulatory check, license validation, or guarantee of credentials.

av8db does not verify that any user actually holds the certificates, ratings, endorsements, medical certificates, or other qualifications claimed on their profile. Always independently verify any pilot's credentials with the issuing aviation authority (FAA, Transport Canada, EASA, etc.) before relying on them for any safety-critical, employment, hiring, or contractual decision.

4. No Liability for Content Accuracy

av8db makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, legality, or reliability of any content on the Platform. This includes but is not limited to:

• Pilot qualifications and ratings
• Aircraft details, airworthiness, hours, or sale conditions
• Airport information, runway data, fuel prices, or operating procedures
• Business information, services offered, or operating status
• Job posting details, requirements, or compensation
• Event details, dates, locations, or attendance
• Reviews, comments, or opinions

Use of any information on the Platform is at your own risk. Do not rely on Platform content as a substitute for primary sources, official documents, or professional advice.

5. Aircraft Listings & Marketplace

av8db facilitates aircraft listings and connections between buyers and sellers but is not a party to any transaction. We do not act as an agent, broker, dealer, escrow service, or guarantor. All negotiation, payment, transfer of title, inspection (including pre-buy inspection), and registration are solely between the parties involved.

Buyers must independently verify aircraft condition, registration, airworthiness, ownership, and lien status with the relevant authority before any purchase.

6. Job Postings & Hiring

av8db is not an employer, recruiter, or staffing agency. Job postings are submitted by businesses; av8db does not verify employer legitimacy, job availability, working conditions, compensation, immigration sponsorship, or background-check status. Apply at your own discretion and verify employer information independently.

7. Reviews & Opinions

Reviews of airports, businesses, and ferry pilots are the personal opinions of the reviewing user. They do not represent the views of av8db. We are not responsible for the accuracy or fairness of any review and do not pre-moderate review content.

8. Flight Operations & Safety

Nothing on the Platform is or should be construed as an instruction, clearance, authorization, weather briefing, or NOTAM. Pilots in command are solely responsible for the safe conduct of flight, in accordance with the applicable aviation regulations of the country of operation. Always consult official sources for navigation, weather, and operational information.

9. No Warranty

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or availability. av8db does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, av8db, its operators, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the Platform
• Any user-generated content posted on the Platform
• Reliance on any information obtained through the Platform
• Any transaction between users, including but not limited to aircraft sales, hiring, ferry arrangements, training, maintenance, or business services
• Any aviation incident, accident, injury, loss of life, or property damage
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your account or content
• Service interruption, data loss, or security breach

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise) and even if av8db has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless av8db and its operators from any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Account Termination & Content Removal

av8db reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any content, suspend or terminate any account, revoke verification, and refuse service to anyone, at any time, with or without notice and without liability.

13. Modifications to These Terms

av8db may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by an updated version number and date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We may require re-acknowledgement of updated Terms before continued use.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which av8db is operated. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
